By law there must be a minimum of one year aging for a cremant, however, Gratien & Meyer allows over 3 years for its Crémant de Loire, well above the legal one year ageing. SENSORY NOTES: Streams of fine pearls. An intense nose, fine and elegant, with shades of citrus fruit, honey and acacia conferred by the ageing on the lees (sediment). Fruity, fresh and crisp on the palate. PAIRING: Wonderful as an aperitif, it may also accompany a variety of meals, particularly well matched with fish. VARIETALS: 40% Chardonnay, 40% Chenin Blanc, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Pinot Noir
